Instagram people don't take summer vacations and continue to provide the photography social network with all sorts of features, elements, and stickers. Along with the new Chat function that can be included in Instagram Stories as one more sticker, we have also seen the arrival of a new function. It consists of sharing an Instagram Story through a link. Something that would make it much easier to take this content outside of the social network. Or, at least, of getting a story to someone comfortably
Based on our tests, the feature is already available for a few users. We have been able to test it on Android, and we have verified its presence by checking our own Instagram Stories Here, along with the usual icons and buttons such as highlighting or sharing on Facebook , a new icon now appears with the symbol of a chain or a link. This is accompanied by the text Copy link
The process is really simple to carry out. You just have to click on the icon so that the mobile automatically copy the address of that specific story to the clipboard It doesn't matter if it's a photo or video, the icon is present and it appears that the link links to each of the contents.
Once the link has been copied we only have to go wherever we want to paste it to share. It can be a WhatsApp conversation, where we are discussing the published content. But it can also be pasted into an email, Facebook post, Telegram chat, etc. Wherever text can be pasted, this link can be pasted. So that? Therein lies the crux of the matter. And it is that Instagram seems really interested in taking its Instagram Stories further.
Sharing the contents of Instagram Stories
The strategy is clear for Instagram: take content published on this social network beyond its own domains. Of course, for the moment it seems that the thing remains limited. And it is that we can only share our own stories, and not those we see in other profiles.
If that were the case, many of the contents of celebrities, influencers and other striking accounts would have even more visibility when shared by other users. Or even by the media that sometimes use these sources to illustrate news.
We will have to see if Instagram decides to keep the function and extend it to all users. And see how they use it.
