The new design of Android Auto is now available to everyone

Google announced a new design for Android Auto, the Android platform for the car. This new interface came with very interesting and much more intuitive features while driving, such as new icons, music controls at the bottom and adaptation to wider screens for modern cars. Now, Version 4.4 comes with all the new features to different car models. If your vehicle is compatible with Android Auto, this is how you can update.

If you're already an Android Auto user, you'll know that updating couldn't be easier.We will only have to update the app from the Google Play Store, the app store of our mobile. To do this, we enter the application, access the menu and click on My applications and games. If Android Auto appears, click update. As Google is taking this new version in stages, it will probably take a few hours or days to arrive.

If you have not received the update, you can choose to download the latest APK from APK Mirror. Just enter this page, click on download version 4.4 and install it as if it were another application. Of course, you must activate unknown sources.

If you have chosen to download the APK, the previous version will disappear. If you have any problem with the new version, you just have to uninstall the app and it will download again from Google Play.

Among the new features of Android Auto we find improvements in performance and animations, new playback controls at the bottom and compatibility with wide screens. In addition, some applications receive a new interface. Of course, the integration with the Google Assistant and notifications are also improved. This version is already available for more than 500 cars of 50 different models.
