How to delete Instagram Stories photo and video history

One of the great 'news' that came to Instagram and revolutionized its operation were Instagram Stories. We put the news in quotes because they were not such, but rather an imitation of what Snapchat had created. They say that if you can't beat the enemy you have to join him. But the enemy, of course, must want to. Instagram wanted to buy Snapchat and, before its refusal, they decided to copy its star function, the ephemeral stories that self-destruct in a full day.After 24 hours, what you had uploaded to the Stories would leave without a trace, so the content could be more daring and spontaneous.
As the usual Instagram user already knows, we can upload images and videos that we have in the gallery, taken at any time and place, to our Stories. It is not necessary that we make the video (or the photo) at that very moment and then turn it into an ephemeral story. To be able to upload any content already created to the stories section, you just have to swipe up while on the Stories creation screen. At that moment, a screen will be displayed with a photo and video gallery of elements taken with your mobile camera: you just have to choose the one you want to turn into a story and that's it.
Delete Instagram photos and videos in a very simple way
From now on, as a novelty on Instagram, when we record a video or take a photo with the camera, Instagram stories are automatically saved in said gallery and stored for a whole week, they are have published or not.This is fine on the one hand, since many times we record something long, or important, and the Instagram stories end up failing, thus losing what was recorded or captured. Now, if this happens, we just have to swipe up the screen, select the item and republish it. But, on the other hand, this is a double-edged sword... and if not, tell those who love nudes and sexting, sensitive elements that we don't want to have stored on our phone. How do we then do to remove all the content from the Stories before the end of the week of rigor? It is very simple.
To delete items from Stories before they are removed from the application gallery we have to open it, sliding up the screen, and in 'Recent' hold down for a few moments those elements that we want to delete.You can also choose the 'Select Multiple' option if you want to remove more than one item. Once you have selected all the videos and photos you want to delete, you have to choose the trash can icon. The elements will be completely deleted from your phone, thus preventing outside eyes from having access to those delicate images that, sometimes, we store on our mobile for longer than necessary.
