Do you claim to be the best driver? The insurer MAPFRE wants to reward you, if you show it, by launching the new CaReward application. This new tool, in the insurance company's own words, 'will allow customers who take out car insurance (...) to get rewards and savings on the renewal of their policy, for good driving'.

MAPFRE will reward good drivers with the CaReward app

Once the policy is taken out, the user will download the application to his mobile and must register with it as a client of the insurer.The method by which the customer will be rewarded is very similar to a video game: with each trip made, the driver will receive some points that will be accumulated

The points that the user receives for each trip made can be exchanged, later, for prizes such as movie tickets, car washes, etc. You can also obtain savings of up to 15% discount on the first renewal of your insurance, depending on a minimum number of journeys and kilometers traveled.

With the inclusion of the CaReward incentive system, MAPFRE makes a new movement in U.B.I insurance, an acronym for 'Used Based Insurance', already present in the company in 2011 thanks to the appearance ofYcar, an insurance that was aimed at the youngest and rewarded them for their good manners behind the wheel.With this U.B.I insurance system, it is possible to individualize the price of the policies to an extent that had not been known until now. In other words, the client will pay exactly what he owes according to his driving style: the worse it is, the greater the amount he has to pay. A good way to encourage safe driving, thus avoiding the many accidents that occur on Spanish roads year after year.

This year, and up to the month of May, no less than 411 people have already lost their lives on the roads of our countryDuring the month of May, 86 people lost their lives, which represents a decrease in victims of -9 compared to the same period of the previous year. Actions such as the MAPFRE CaReward can help drivers take the trip with more peace of mind, even if it is alluding to their pocket.
