How to create reminders on Google Duo
Table of contents:
Google Duo is the company's video call app, a very complete application that is available on both iOS and Android, and which now receives more news. The new version of the app allows us to create reminders so we don't forget to make that important call. In addition, integration with the Google Assistant is improved.
One of the main novelties of this update are the reminders. We can create different notices so that we don't forget to make that important call.To create a reminder, it will first be necessary for something to happen to us. That the recipient does not answer the call. If this happens, a floating window will appear that will allow us to activate a reminder to call the person again. We can choose what time we want Google to remind us to call again new.
Of course, we can exit the application and continue browsing as normal on the phone. When it is time for the reminder, the app will notify us by means of a notification. We will have to enter and call again manually. For obvious reasons, the application will not make the call automatically.
Integration with Google Nest Hub
Another novelty included in the new version of Duo is the possibility of making calls with the Google Nest Hub. In this way, we will be able to talk to the user who is in our house through the Google Assistant We will only have to click on the option that says 'Call my devices from home' and we can automatically make a call with the Google smart screen. Of course, the user who is in front of the Nest Hub will be able to see us, but since this device does not have a camera, we will not see anything. Also, the sender has to accept the call.
All these new features are now available on Google Play through an update. It may take a few days to reach your device.
