How to participate in the Pokémon GO Global Challenge

Summer is coming, we're almost there, and Pokémon Trainers are more ready than ever for action. Niantic has shared new details about the events for this next season. Specifically, the last thing they announced is related to the global challenges,that will allow us to obtain all kinds of rewards. From what Niantic has commented, if the investigations are completed, both globally and in conjunction with the trainers of each Pokémon GO Fest, new bonuses will be unlocked the following week.

If all three teams and event attendees meet the research goals, a special raid day bonus will be unlocked during the bonus week.And if all the objectives are met by the end of the summer, an even better bonus will be unlocked, of which they have not given details.

Spark's Candy Research Challenge

The first of these new challenges is Spark's Candy Research Challenge,which will last from the beginning to the end of Pokémon GO Chicago Fest. Therefore, it will take place from next Thursday June 13 to Monday June 17 (both included).

Among the tasks of this research challenge are:

• Pokémon GO Fest Chicago Attendees: One Million Research Tasks Needed to Unlock Double the Candy Per Catch
• Team Instinct: Need to complete 15 million research tasks globally to unlock 1 Rare Candy per raid
• Team Valor: Complete 15 million research tasks globally to unlock half distance to hatch
• Team Wisdom: Complete 15 million research tasks globally to unlock twice as many Candy per hatch

All unlocked bonuses will be valid from Tuesday, June 18 to Tuesday, June 25. If so, Raikou will be available in raids for a short time (date and time will be announced later). If you're lucky, you might end up running into a Shiny Raikou.

Candela PX Research Challenge

This will be the second of the challenges, which will start from Thursday, July 4, 2019 to Sunday, July 7. This challenge will last from the beginning to the end of the Pokémon GO Fest in Dortmund.

Investigation Challenge Tasks:

• Pokémon GO Fest Dortmund Attendees: One Million Research Tasks Need To Be Completed To Unlock Triple Catch Candies
• Team Instinct: Complete 15 million research tasks globally to unlock 1-hour Lucky Eggs
• Team Valor: Complete 15 million research tasks globally to unlock triple hatching XP
• Team Wisdom: Complete 15 million research tasks globally to unlock double XP in raids

In this case, all bonuses that have been unlocked will be active from Tuesday, July 9 to Tuesday, July 16. If so, Entei will be available in raids on Sunday, July 14. You already know that with luck you can run into a Shiny Entei.

Blanche's Stardust Research Challenge

Finally, a third challenge has been announced, which will be available from Wednesday, August 7, 2019 to Monday, August 12 . Basically, from the beginning to the end of the Yokohama Pokémon GO Fest.

Investigation Challenge Tasks:

• Yokohama Pokémon GO Fest attendees: Two million research tasks must be completed to unlock triple Candy per catch
• Team Instinct: 25 million research tasks need to be completed globally to unlock 3000 Stardust per raid
• Team Valor: Complete 25 million research tasks to unlock triple the amount of Stardust per hatch
• Team Wisdom: Complete 25 million research tasks globally to unlock 1-hour Star Chunk

Bonuses successfully unlocked will be valid between Tuesday, August 13 until Tuesday, August 20. If all are unlocked, Suicune will be available in raids on Saturday, August 17, 2019 (time to be announced later).
