Google Assistant and its search app get dark mode
Table of contents:
New Google apps are getting dark mode. On this occasion, the apps and services that receive this update are the Google Assistant and its Feed, which is present in most Android terminals. With this, there are few apps that have to update with a dark mode.
The truth is that the application that receives this dark mode is the Google app. In this way, it also applies to the search engine, the Feed and the Assistant. Not only available on Android Q, this mode comes via server activation, so it may take a few days to reach all users. In addition, it is tarta of the beta version. In my case I have Android 10 Q with the latest version of Google Beta, but I don't have the option.
The dark mode function is activated through the app settings. It's a bit tricky to get there. If you have the application icon, enter and click on the 'more' button, located at the bottom. Then, tap on settings and go to 'general'. Now scroll down to the bottom and click on the ‘Dark Mode’ feature.
We can choose different options
Three options will appear. The first will keep the dark mode disabled and the tones will be white. The second will allow us to activate this function when it is applied from the system settings. That is, when the phone interface has light mode, the app will have white tones and vice versa The last option allows us to always have dark mode activated.
You can download the Google APK with the latest version. Try clearing the cache and forcing the application so that the feature arrives as soon as possible, although I can't guarantee immediate application. With the integration, only Gmail and a few other apps are left to receive this dark mode.
