Dragon Quest Walk
The reign of Pokémon Go could suffer a setback after the arrival of a new rival. The developer Square Enix has announced a new title in the Dragon Quest series for Android and iOS mobile phones, which it has named Dragon Quest Walk. This new title will be similar to Pokémon GO, but with monsters from Dragon Quest. It would arrive sometime this year. In fact, the closed beta will start in Japan on June 11.
In a presentation video some first details have been seen, although much remains to be known.But the main thing is that Dragon Quest Walk will have a way of proceeding in the Pokémon Go style, with a similar gameplay in which you will have to fight against monsters to make them level up. However, this new augmented reality game will have its own hallmark and it won't be quite the same as Pokémon Go. It is already known that it will present some differences with respect to this one.

The main difference is that the matches will be in teams of four. That is, we will not only have to worry about one pet, but four. Also, there will be a button to advance the speed of battles, although we don't really know for what purpose. In one of the images of the presentation video, different bars are also shown that will be counted at the time of the battles: the magic bar, the life bar, the level of the monster or different actions to be carried out: defensive options, item bag, attack or magic.
It is still too early to know the media impact that this new title will have among users. In any case, after the publication of the presentation video, the reaction of the Japanese audience has been quite positive Dragon Quest Walk has been crowned as a trending topic on Twitter in Japan. To all this we must add that at an economic level the value of Square Enix shares has grown by more than 5% in less than three hours.
