Since it decided to copy its ephemeral stories, Snapchat has been in decline, losing numerous young users, a hallmark of the app.
Tencent, a powerful company that owns, among other games, Fortnite, was in charge of acquiring a large number of Snapchat shares, announcing changes that were going to make the company turn to the world of video games, in a clear attempt to recover all that transfer of adolescent users who fled to Instagram. And the day has come when this turnaround is complete: Snapchat Games has just been introduced, a series of multiplayer games that will allow Snapchat users to play with their closest friends or other users of the social network.
There will be a total of six games that will make up the Snapchat Games pack. Initially, there have been three who have just landed on the ghost's social network. Their titles are ‘Snake Squad’, ‘Zombie Rescue Squad’ and ‘Bitmoji Party’.

All games can be played by multiple players at the same time and, in addition, they will be able to contact each other through a chat option. Three new games are expected to appear shortly to complete the Snapchat Game selection. It's about 'Alphabear Hustle', C.A.T.S. Drift Race and Tiny Royale The games will be available within the Snapchat application itself and to view them you will need to have updated the application to the latest version.
In the version we have installed on our phone, which corresponds to the number 10.57.0.0, we can already find the games. To start playing you just have to open a chat window and, in the lower right part, a rocket icon will appear, if you have the games available. The moment you press it, a new screen will open with all the games available so far.An illustrative image of the game and the number of players it allows appears in the game preview.
It is not essential that two people play, but to locate the game you do have to open a chat window. We have tried to play, first Bitmoji Party and it is very simple and fun. It consists of a series of mini-games, including a frantic race inside a jukebox, a zombie apocalypse, a pool that is slowly sinking... It's quite a fun set of games... Beware of procrastination.
The other game available at the moment is called 'Snake Squad' and, as the name suggests, it is the classic snake game , with a somewhat sinister twist: your face is the head of the serpent. It is played as usual, trying not to collide with other players, eating luminous balls and trying to get as big as you can.
