Instagram now allows shopping in its Explore tab

Instagram continues to update itself with new features for its users. But this time it has not focused on Stories or adding new filters. Now they have improved the Explore section of the app. This tab has been designed so that the user can discover new and personalized content. It also helps us to search for specific content. Now those responsible for the application have expanded this section to also show IGTV videos and a Store option
When we enter the Explore section (magnifying glass button in the bottom bar) we find hundreds of images at our disposal. These images are not random. The app includes Suggestions for Stories and images that it thinks may be relevant to us based on our browsing habits and the accounts we follow. In addition, at the top of the Explore section we have a series of filters to narrow the search. We can filter by type of image, such as Science and technology, Motor, Television and Cinema, Decoration and much more.
Two new options in the Explore section of Instagram
Now, in addition to being able to filter by topic, we have two new options in the Explore section of Instagram One of them is IGTV, which will show us content from the application of the same name.IGTV is the application that Instagram launched so that content creators could upload long videos. It's a kind of mobile-focused YouTube, so most of the videos are shot vertically. If the minute of Instagram Stories falls short, you can use IGTV to upload longer videos. Well, Now Instagram's search section includes videos from your other platform
On the other hand, we also have a new section called Shop As you can imagine, appear in this section Photographs of articles uploaded by manufacturers and online stores In my case, I have tried it and many photographs of sneakers appear, although I am not sure why.
To differentiate what content comes from IGTV or Store, it will not be necessary to filter directly in the Explore section. As we mentioned, as soon as we enter this section we have hundreds of suggestions.The ones that come from IGTV have a TV icon and the app logo at the bottom. The same happens with those that come from the new Shop section, with a logo and the word shop in the lower left corner
These new options are also available in Spain, so all you have to do is update your Instagram application to have them.
