If you want to get started and start creating meeting appointments through the new Google Calendar, we'll provide you with step-by-step instructions on how to do so below.
1. The first thing, logically, will be to start Google Calendar If you have not yet updated the application or do not have it installed by default on your mobile, we will recommend you access Google Play Store to carry out the download. Here is the direct link of the Android application.
Once inside, you will access the default view of your calendar, with the most important events and tasks for the coming days. Click on the More button to create the event and choose, logically, the option Event.
2. Once inside, you will need to write a title, although it is very possible that Google Calendar itself will suggest one. Be that as it may, then you will have to enter other important information, which are the following:
- Day and time of the event (being able to mark if it lasts throughout the day)
- If the event in question is repeated in time
- Add a location (so guests are clear on where the event will be held)
- Add a notification (so that everyone receives the notice by email)
- Add guests (here you will have to select each of the attendees, writing only their name in the box provided for this purpose)
- Add conference (if you are going to meet remotely, through Hangouts)
- Default color (so that it is marked in the hue you want in the calendar)
- Add note (if you need to make any clarification for the event)
- Attach file (if any presentation or document for guests needs to be added)
When you have finished filling in the event information, hit the Save button. Guests will receive the notification, if you have done so indicated in the creation tab, and it will be added directly to everyone's calendar.
