How to make quick reactions on Instagram
Table of contents:
Instagram lived a before and after in its history after incorporating the ephemeral stories that had appeared on Snapchat for the first time. A star function that has millions of young people hooked on being able to see and transmit, in seconds, a part of their lives, with the advantage that it will disappear without a trace in 24 hours. Stories have been increasing in functionality over time, with the addition of location tags and hashtags, emoticons, mentions and stickers, GIFs, and quick reactions. We are going to deal with the latter in this new special on Instagram Stories.
This is how you can send 'quick reactions' to Stories on Instagram
We call the emoticons that we can send to the creator of a story on Instagram 'quick reactions' to convey an emotion. We are constantly seeing ephemeral stories and there are times when we love them or make us sad or make us laugh and so we want to convey it to the creator, but we also don't want to start a conversation. What better than an option in which we simply send a quick reaction to make notes to the creator of the story that we have seen it and want to go on record?
To do this, all we have to do is click on the response bar that we see in each of the stories we see , unless, of course, the creator of the story, in the configuration section, has eliminated the option of answers. If you see a 'send message' bar, click once on it. A screen will open with six smileys to send a quick emotion. We have smileys for laughter, surprise, love, sadness, applause, fire, party and the number 100. Just tap the desired smiley and the quick reaction will be automatically sent to the story creator.
When you press the smiley to send, you will also see a screen animation, confirming that the emoji has been sent successfully. From that moment on, the creator of the story will be able to reply to your reaction. In this simple way you will have made clear your reaction to a specific story, thus increasing the character of the social network that characterizes Instagram.
