Snapchat renews its application and boasts numbers of monthly users
The Snapchat app continues to surprise those who thought it was dead for quite some time. Snap, parent of Snapchat, has announced new results with a prognosis in its favor. The company has revealed that its daily user base has grown by 4 million people worldwide. It now has 190 million daily active users, up from 186 million people who used the platform over the past two quarters.
The executive director of Snapchat, Evan Spiegel, has assured after the presentation of results that the platform reaches 75 percent of young people from 13 to 34 years old and 90 percent of those from 13 to 24 years. However, has not explained why or how its user base has grown suddenly. To this growth must be added higher-than-expected revenues. Snapchat has pocketed during the first quarter of the year 285 million euros in exchange compared to the 273 million forecast.

Snapchat works every day to exceed these figures, and this could not be possible without improvements in the app. The company has recently announced new features, such as a new gaming platform that it has dubbed Snap Games. Basically, it allows two users to play together in real time at any time they want. In addition, through Snap Games it will be possible to see which users are also playing, being able to even communicate with any of them through a voice chat. This feature can be accessed directly from the app's chat bar Six games are currently available: Bitmoji Party, Tiny Royale, Snake Squad, Alphabear Hustle , CATS Drift Race and Zombie Rescue Squad.
Another novelty coming to Snapchat is App Stories. Thanks to this function it will be possible to share content directly from the Snapchat camera to a story within another app, for example in Tinder. And, as if this were not enough, Snap brings its popular filters, one of its identity marks, to buildings. It is about Landmarks, a product that will allow that emblematic buildings such as the Eiffel Tower, Buckingham Palace, the Chinese Theater in Los Angeles or the Washington Capitol can vomit rainbows, have eyes or grow even larger.
