Unidas Podemos denounced this Monday that WhatsApp had blocked its group for something that is contemplated in WhatsApp's terms and conditions.From WhatsApp they ensure that their application cannot be used for mass messaging nor is it compatible with third-party programs. What they do assure in Unidas Podemos is that they are using the same service and the same tool as the other political groups, whose accounts have not been blocked.

The purple formation uses WhatsApp to send messages to users who have voluntarily subscribed to their channel. Despite this, the tool has been disabled by WhatsApp and it is not an error. This is how we know thanks to Juan Manuel Del Olmo, Secretary of Communication of Podemos, who denounced what happened through his Twitter account.
Del Olmo has denied that Podemos uses practices that are not used by other parties. He claims that in the past they made sure toall paperworkto use the WhatsApp application under their terms, specifically requesting that the Podemos group be verified .What is happening is really strange and we hope there is no politician involved.

Podemos is the only party that loses the WhatsApp group
No one can deny that the harassment of the purple formation is brutal. From Podemos they ensure that they have the express consent of each of the users of the group to send them the information. In the WhatsApp channel there were 60,000 subscribers who now see their communication completely interrupted until further notice.
