Let's put ourselves in a situation. You are going to change your mobile because he has bought you a brand new terminal, and you are afraid of losing all your conversations and, most importantly, your funniest and most used stickers. Well, you make a backup of your messages but… what about the stickers? The bad news is that WhatsApp does not save these contents in the backup, but in the terminal. That is, they are lost if you change your mobile. That's why we explain here how to carry all your favorite stickers to your new mobile
Before changing mobile
The process must be carried out before you change your mobile. And it is that it is the only way that this goes well. WhatsApp does not have backup copies of stickers, so if you don't want to lose them you must follow these more rudimentary steps.
The first thing is to create a conversation with yourself on WhatsApp. Or with someone you trust enough to harass them with all your stickers. If you don't have it, just create a contact in your address book with the name “myself”, for example, and with your same phone number. Then enter WhatsApp and click on the button in the lower right corner of the application to start a new chat with that contact "myself". In this way you can have a conversation at your disposal where you can pour any content.
At this point it's enough that you send all those stickers that you want to keep Here it doesn't matter if you saturate or monopolize the conversation, so give good account of it by sending each and every one that you want to make sure to keep. Pay close attention to your selection of favorites and recents, among which you should find all the favorite content. And now yes, we move on to the next step.
Changing mobile
Touch the turn to make a backup copy of WhatsApp on your old mobile Remember that you can force this copy by displaying the menu of the upper right corner of the application and enter Settings. Here enter the Chats section and click on the Backup function. Then click on the green Save button to create a copy of all the conversations you have had up to that moment, among which is the chat with "myself".
While the backup is being created, you can install WhatsApp on your new mobile. But nothing else. Wait until the copy is finished. Then move the SIM card to the new phone and start setting up themessaging application on it. You know, enter the phone number, receive the confirmation code... and very important! Restore the backup of the old mobile, which should only be a few minutes old.
After a time that depends on the volume of messages and how old and big the backup is, you will have access to all your chats on your new mobile. Among them that you have created with yourself, where all the stcikers will be that you have recently sent and want to recover.
Saving stickers
Now only the final step remains. The one in which you click, one by one, on the different stickers. In this way, a pop-up menu appears with the preview of the sticker and different options. To recover it, it is only possible to click on the option Add to favorites Without there being a limit to these. So you can do it with all of them.
The only problem is that you will have all your stickers again but in a disordered way. They will all be scrambled in the Favorites section, that is, in the star within the WhatsApp stickers menu. But at least they're all here.
