Google Drive has a new design and dark mode

If you are a regular user of Google Drive,you should know that things have changed. The Google company has released a new version of its cloud storage services, which changes some functions and also undergoes an aesthetic renewal. This was announced in mid-March and now the news is available to everyone.

One of the most important innovations has to do with the new dark mode, a function that little by little is being incorporated into all services.Another interesting feature, and one that will be especially practical for some, has to do with the document scanning system, which has been substantially improved. The redesign of Google Drive, what's new?

The first thing you'll notice as soon as you access your new Google Drive will be the redesign. The one from Mountain View was clear that should incorporate Material Design to the service One of the most important novelties has to do with the color white, which already floods the entire interface of user. The fonts and icons have been renewed, so that they now have the style that characterizes the new Google apps.

From now on, the navigation also changes. Users will be able to move from one space to another from the buttons at the bottom of the application. These give access to the following sections: Home, Favorites, Sharing and Files.

The new dark mode of Google Drive

Dark mode is here, it has arrived, but not for all users. In fact, you will not find any option within Google Drive that allows you to activate it. The only thing you can do is turn on power saving mode on Android Pie or higher. You can also do it from the developer options. From there, dark mode will kick in, but if you don't have any of those Android versions, all efforts will be wasted.
