Spotify will have a timer to stop the music
Table of contents:
Spotify continues to update and test new features and payment methods to make its music streaming service one of the simplest and easiest to use, in addition to being able to count on more possibilities than its competition. Although it is true that its mobile application needs polishing to be more intuitive, there are many functions that we can perform with it. Very recently we told you about Spotify's future plan to create a duo account for two people for a price of 12.50 euros. Now we find out that very soon the developers will add a timer option like the one that most applications already have to listen to podcasts.
Make the music stop by itself thanks to Spotify
The perfect function for those who used Spotify when trying to fall asleep and in the end always end up with half a drained battery because of falling asleep has arrived. The music streaming service will incorporate a timer function (Sleep Timer, as it has appeared in the first leaks) so that the user can choose a time in which the music it would stop automatically. And not just music, as Spotify has been offering podcasts to its listeners for a long time.
In addition, this new automatic timer function can be useful if, for example, you use Spotify with data for your daily running session. If, for some reason, you forgot to stop the playback, the application will do it by itself, thus saving you Internet data on your phone.
We still do not know the moment in which this new function would reach our Spotify. Not even if it is an internal update, which we will access without having to download any new app in the Google Play Store, or if they will notify us from it to download the most recent. We also don't have any information about whether this new timer feature would be limited to premium account users or if it would be available to everyone. Remember that the monthly fee to enjoy Spotify is 10 euros per month on mobile phones and 5 euros on computers.
