Pokémon GO launches an event again on Earth Day
Next April 22 will take place on Earth Day, an event that once again Niantic did not want to miss. For this, it has launched interesting news in Pokémon GO, which will be available between April 13 and 18. As it could not be otherwise, in the case of that day, the objective is to contribute to contribute our grain of sand in cleaning tasks and the environment. The company intends to gather the maximum number of users, and if this is possible, enjoy some rewards.
The mechanics of the Earth Day event is simple, but only users from different parts of the United States can attend in person. All will be quoted at different points and times on beaches, streams or rivers (you can check it here). If 2,000 people ultimately attend any of these cleanup events, more Ground-type Pokémon will be seen. If there are 5,000 attendees, Shiny Diglett will poke his head, a pokémon in the shape of a mole, of the Ground type, difficult to see otherwise If the presence of users is even bigger and in the encounters add 7,000 attendees, there will be twice as many Stardust and candies and Groudon will return to raids.
Whether you are in person or not in the indicated places, everyone can participate.Niantic invites players to post a photo on Twitter mentioning @NianticLabs with the hashtag AugmentingReality. As is logical, the reason for the images has to focus on an activity that shows commitment to the planet. For example, you can go to an area of your town that have to be cleaned of plastics and capture them by collecting them to take them to recycling points.
Before all this, remember that on March 30 we have an appointment with the limited investigation of Lotad. From 11 in the morning until 8 in the afternoon, you will have to go through the different Poképaradas to fulfill different tasks. In this way, it can be achieved as a prize for Lotad. Stay tuned because, who knows if a shiny Lotad doesn't appear among the rewards?
