After analysis, 32 of the tested apps were removed from the Google Play Store after proving ineffective.The company claims that these applications were "developed by hobbyist programmers or by software manufacturers that were not focused on the security business." According to AV, the purpose of these fake security applications was simply for these companies to have a security tool for the gallery, as if this movement gave them prestige. After this verification, the study asks users not to download antivirus from the Play Store that do not have their own web page or that, in their information sheet, Just provide an email.
