Where to find my shared photo albums in Google Photos
Table of contents:
One of the most useful functions that we can find in Google Photos is being able to share photo albums with our friends. Imagine going on a trip with your group of friends and being able, with a single gesture of your finger, to share all the photos you've taken, gathered in the same album, with all the protagonists of the images. Something quite simple that, however, and from a recent update, has become a bit complicated.
Albums shared on Google Photos, where are they now?
In previous versions of Google Photos, libraries shared with other users were located in the side menu of the application Now, we only have a warning, 'Now in the share tab' and, when we click, it takes us to said tab, which appears next to the usual ones for 'Photos', 'Albums' and 'Assistant', where we can create movies, collages or animations. When entering this new tab, the first thing we have is the library that they share with you and the albums that we share.
Within the album that we have shared, if we open it, we can see a menu of three points through which we will access the configuration of the library we are sharing. In this section we will choose if we want to share all the photos from a specific album or only the photos in which the person in question appears, automatically. We already know that, thanks to Artificial Intelligence and facial recognition, Google Photos is capable of grouping all the images in which a person appears in an album.
Creating a shared album is still as easy as ever. In the same 'Shared' tab we have the option to 'Create a shared album'. If we press it, we will access a screen where we will enter the title of the album and add the contacts with whom we want to share the album in question. In addition, we can request that the application itself group photos of the same people and pets automatically, thanks to facial recognition.
