How to control all your Android mobile with your voice with Google Voice Access
Table of contents:
Many still don't know it, but Voice Access is a Google application that helps us control our mobile phones with our voice. For all those users who have difficulty using a touch screen (paralysis, tremors, temporary injury or any other reason) this app can help them a lot.
Voice Access allows us 3 different categories of voice commands:
- Basic functions such as Go Back, Go to Home Screen, etc.
- Gestures to interact with the screen we are viewing such as Click next, scroll down, etc.
- Dictation and text editing such as Type Hello, Change the letter to or, etc.
Best of all, with the "What can I say?" command, Voice Access tells you what actions you can take through the app. And there is also a way to see the complete list of voice commands through the Voice Access Settings in the option that says “Show all commands”.
How to activate Voice Access?
The first thing you should do is install the application, if you don't have it. Here you can download Voice Access from the Google Play Store. When you have completed the installation, all you have to do is follow these steps:
- Enter Settings – Accessibility.
- Select Voice Access.
- Flip the switch to the on position.
Now you only need to complete the tutorial to learn how to use Voice Access and you will be able to control all your Android with this application. It is important that you complete the tutorial because you will learn the most common commands. Another of the actions that you must carry out is enable Ok Google on any screen to be able to perform actions without using your hands at any time. Of course, remember that Ok Google will no longer allow you to unlock your mobile and for this step you will have to use your fingerprint, facial recognition or the method that you have configured on your mobile.
In case you don't want to enable the Ok Google option on any screen, you will have a blue Voice Access button on it.This button will enable the service each time you press it. And to stop Voice Access, all you have to do is say “Stop listening”. But if you want to disable it completely again just follow the previous tutorial in reverse, turning the switch off. We hope we have helped you with this little tutorial. If you have any questions, leave your question in the comments.
