This is Google's intelligent responses to messages in Spanish
Table of contents:
Yes, although many of us hardly use them anymore, Google continues to improve its SMS/RCS messaging application. Google Messages, which is the name of the application, is now renewed with automatic responses to messages in Spanish. Automatic responses, something very similar to what we already have with automatic responses in Gmail emails, have been part of the SMS/RCS application for a while but they only spoke in English. Now we have them available in our language.
Google Messages is updated to be more intelligent in our language
This new function is specified in the changelog (list of news of an update) of version 4.0 of Google Messages. This does not mean that if you have this version already installed you can start using the automatic responses in Spanish, since for some users it may take a little longer to activate. This, however, is not the only novelty that the Google Messages application has recently received.
From now on, the messages we send each other through this application will enjoy the benefits of the Google Assistant. When we send a message that contains a movie title, for example, or any other content that can be expanded, the Google Assistant will launch a suggestion so that we can send it to our interlocutor. Thus, whoever decides to send SMS through their Android mobile will be able to expand the user experience beyond that of simply sending a text message.
Google decided to end its Allo application, dedicated to sending messages, just two years after it was created. He has taken into account that he did not need two tools for the same function, opting, in the end, for Google Messages which, in this version 4.0 also includes the possibility of renaming the conversation groups that we have.
Good news for all those who continue to use, in their day to day, classic text messages to communicate with each other. Many telephone rates already include them for free in their rates, so they are a good alternative to WhatsApp, which was ten years old very recently.
