MyTaxi's taxi app is renamed FREE NOW

The Mytaxi application is going to undergo the most important change in its history and that is that the Daimler company, the main shareholder of MyTaxi, has joined forces with BMW to create a new brand called ' Free Now', a service that will replace the one known until now as MyTaxi. Thanks to this change, the old MyTaxi adds to its taxi service the shared car rental offered until now by companies such as Car2go, Drive Now.

The user will not have to do anything about it and will continue using the same application as before, which will be renewed through different updates. Users, thanks to Free Now, will now have many more options when it comes to moving around the main European cities (currently 100 cities) that will gradually be added to the service. The change of logo, name and options will be reflected on the user's mobile throughout 2019.

These are, among others, the options that will be offered to the user through the new Free Now application.

• Free Now. The user will be able to request a taxi as he has been doing with MyTaxi.
• Park Now. Parking service.
• Share Now. Car sharing service to save costs.
• Reach Now. Multimodal transport (one in which several different types of transport are needed, especially for the movement of goods).

The company reports that there will be no price change due to this brand change that may affect the user. The rates are determined by local legislation, although they will continue to offer specific promotions. For the time being, the user will continue to have to have separate accounts in the Car2go or DriveNow services in order to access them. The data privacy policy will not be affected in any way either.

With this new alliance movement between Daimler and BMW, the user ensures that they can have at their disposal a greater variety of transport for that your trips and stays in cities be as comfortable as possible.
