Pokémon GO is filled with pink Pokémon for Valentine's Day
Pokémon Go celebrates love with a new special event for Valentine's Day. As has happened in other years, until February 21, pink Pokémon will appear in the wild, such as Clefairy, Hoppip and Luvdisc, more frequently than usual. The event is also accompanied by a series of temporary bonuses, such as double the number of candies for each capture, an extra that always comes in handy during the game.
Go on the hunt for pink Pokémon, because Niantic has activated the possibility that you will find yourself during these days in the wild with some of the likes of Clefairy, Hoppip and luvdisc. Others like Chansey and Porygon will be seen more often in raid fights. In fact, the first of them has never become available in this way. Also, other pink Pokémon will have a better chance of appearing in 7 km Eggs, which are those that are obtained with gifts from friends.
The new Valentine's event is also worth a visit for a series of temporary bonuses. During these days, the Lure Modules will increase their duration, so that they will now be active for six hours. On the other hand, each catch you get will give twice as many candies, good news to evolve those Pokémon that don't appear too often.
The event is already active and will end on February 21 at 10:00 p.m. Spanish time.We must also not forget that on February 16th the Pokémon Go Community Day will take place, with the Ice and Ground-type Pokémon, Swinub, as the main protagonist. That same day, and for the first time in the game, we will be able to get hold of Mamoswine by evolving into Piloswine. This will allow us to learn the Rock-type move, "Past Power", if we evolve it up to an hour after the event.
In turn, we will be able to get up to five daily rewards in trainer battles during the Community Day weekend, with the luck of being able to get up to five Sinnoh stones during trainer battles. These will come in very handy to evolve Piloswine.
