One of the most interesting and amazing features of YouTube is the ability to generate sub titles automatically For a few years, YouTube is capable of creating video sub titles automatically, saving creators a lot of money. If you are watching a video in another language that is not native to you, it would be easy to confuse some words with others.
Sub titles help to better understand the language, especially if it is not our mother tongue, and to improve our ability to interpret the videos. The bad thing about this is that not all YouTube videos have sub titles, do you want to know how to find out which ones do? This hack will blow you away. Just mute your phone and the YouTube app will automatically show you which ones have sub titles and which ones don't
How does this feature work?
When you search for any video on YouTube, directly in the search results, you can't see which videos have sub titles and which don't (at least apparently). But if you lower the volume of the multimedia on your smartphone (usually it is done on the volume buttons) you will achieve it. A new option will be displayed telling you which videos have sub titles and which videos don't.
It doesn't matter what language the video you're trying to watch is in, whether it's in Spanish, English, etc.The app will indicate in a new text that says "Sub titles" that the video does have them. In the image you can see on the left how it looks normal, and how it looks when you turn down the volume. Sometimes the word "CC" may even appear instead of sub titles, depending on the language. In theory CC indicates that the sub titles contain not only the language used, but also indications about noise in the video and other types of sounds.
How long has this cheat been available?
Best of all, this tip has been on the YouTube app for a long time, we don't know if it was years or months, but it's not new at all. Try it on your mobile! You will be able to know instantly if a YouTube video is sub titled or not Google detects that your mobile is not with sound and the video will start without it. However, the sub titles will not be activated by default but you will have to access the option that allows you to do this.
