It has been 10 years since the first Angry Birds came out However, the culture of mobile telephony has been changing the habits of users and leaving the game forgotten. A few weeks ago, Angry Birds presented Dream Blast, but its new spin-offs haven't quite caught on. This time it is something different. Can you imagine playing with the classic birds in virtual reality?
That's right, Angry Birds VR: Isle of Pigs is the new signature title. A different title in which Rovio has had to collaborate with Resolution Games. In the game you will find more than 50 levels with a very familiar content, ideal to enjoy at home.
What's so special about the new Angry Birds: Isle of pigs?
In this title you will have to destroy the buildings of the pigs with your usual birds. The most famous characters of the saga will be with you: Red, Chuck, Bomb and even Blue. However, this time the skill rests in your hands, as they will literally be the ones to take charge of the slingshot (or bird slingshot).
It will surely be fun to play this saga with your hands, instead of triangulating the position from a much more subjective point of view. In this new title you will find the best of the first installment and the virtual reality revolution. The best thing about playing in 3D is not that you control the game, but now you have a lots of different angles to launch the birds, from positions you wouldn't have before you could use.
The only thing you won't be able to do is navigate around each structure, you will only have one point of view and from there you can do whatever you want.If it were possible to look at the constructions from any side, it would totally lose its grace. This new VR saga promises a lot, will it get us playing again?
Where can you play Angry Birds VR and how much does it cost?
This title, unlike the previous ones, is not free. Angry Birds VR will cost 15 dollars (about 12.49 euros to change) or 9 dollars (about 7 euros to change) if you have a VIVE subscription. Angry Birds VR is currently available for the Oculus Rift and HTC VIVE via Steam. However, the study confirms that they are already studying the possible launch for other platforms in the coming months. It would be very easy to port this title to Android with the use of Google Daydream. Are you ready for the new adventure?
