If you don't want to make a manual backup, you can schedule WhatsApp to do it for you. To do this, enter Automatic copy and choose if you want the system to do it on a daily, weekly or monthly basis. You can also select to include the videos in the copy. Of course, it is important that to avoid scares with the subject of excessive data consumption, connect your device to a WiFi network or deactivate mobile data for iCloud. You can do it within Settings, Data, iCloud Drive, off.
