Table of contents:
A good way to have immediate access to the web pages you use the most is to place a shortcut to them on the desktop of your phone. In addition, this is a very good way to avoid installing applications, such as Instagram or Facebook, which use up a lot of battery and on some entry-level phones can be more of a hindrance than a help. And it is quite easy to place an icon with the logo of our favorite page, we will only need the Android browser par excellence, Google Chrome.
If you don't have the Google Chrome browser installed, go to the Google Play Store app store and download it. As soon as you install it, we will proceed to place the shortcut icons on the desktop.
Have your websites at hand as if they were apps on your desktop
We open any web page, the one we want to include on our main desktop screen. In this case we will choose ours as an example. Therefore, we enter tuexpertoapps and, next, look at the menu of three points that we have in the upper right part of the screen. In this side drop-down window we can find all the possible configurations of the Google Chrome browser, such as data saving or the search engine that we want to use in the browser, to give a couple of examples.
Of course, we also have the section that interests us: Add to home screen. We have to click on this section to create a page button on our desktop. On the next screen a small box will appear where we can modify the name of the shortcut and make it look like an application. Now all that remains is to click on 'Add' and access to the desired web page will appear on the desktop, as if it were another application.
Remember, however, that every time you press this shortcut icon a new tab will open This is good to remember because, at the end of the day, you may have accumulated quite a few tabs, something that can be detrimental to the performance of your mobile phone.
