How to contact your Uber or your Cabify if you have forgotten something in the car

Call your Uber or Cabify driver. It arrives, you get on and go to your destination. You get off without thinking twice, after saying goodbye (be careful with education, users are also valued), swift and fast. Not having to pay cash at the end of the trip makes the process easier. But we run the risk of leaving something behind in the car so quickly. How could we recover the mobile, sorry, the object that we left in the Uber or Cabify car?
We are going to show you, step by step, what you should do to get in touch with your Uber driver and thus recover what you have left in the car.
How to contact Uber to find a lost item
If you have forgotten an object on one of your Uber trips, you must do the following. Enter the application and press the three-line menu located at the top left of the screen. Now, you must access ‘Your Trips‘ and locate the trip in which you lost the object in question. Once inside the trip, access the 'Help' screen and, in it, click on 'I lost an object'.
Now we have two possibilities, either contact the driver of the trip in question or contact the Uber company itself. If you have not lost the object for more than 24 hours, choose the first option.If it's been more than a day, choose the second option.
In the first case we must enter our telephone number (with the code +34 in Spain) and wait for us to receive a call from the driver.
In the second case, you must contact the Uber company using a written form, describing the lost object and giving any additional information that you can provide to be able to recover it soon.
How to contact Cabify to find a lost object
If you think you have forgotten an object in a Cabify car, you must fill out a form located on its own website. Once delivered, Cabify will contact you to discuss how to proceed if the object has been found.
