WhatsApp will not allow you to forward a message more than five times
To date, WhatsApp allowed you to forward a message to 20 different contacts, a fairly high number if we take into account that in other places like India this amount is limited to five. Luck has run out. From now on we are equal to India and a maximum of five forwards per message can be made with the aim of ending mass spam. In this way, if you want to send the same message to more than five people, you will have to repeat the process, also reminding the contacts that you had previously written to them.
To forward the same message to several different contacts, both individuals and groups, just click on the message in question and click on the forward option.WhastApp has been allowing the possibility of sending that message to 20 groups/people for some time. The new limit of five means that it will no longer be so easy to select contacts from the list with a bang.
From now on, we will have to go back, choose the message again and return to the same list to choose new contacts or groups. This implies that we will have to remember who we have already sent it to and who we have not. As is logical, this process is going to be quite tedious for companies that want to send their advertising campaigns through WhatsApp. While it doesn't completely prevent bulk forwarding, it does make it a lot more complicated.
We imagine that the best thing, at this point, is to copy the text and paste it into the chats we want. It can be quite less heavy and much faster. At the moment, WhatsApp has not set limits to this option, although we do not know if at some point it will also end up reducing the possibility of copying and pasting the same message on different contacts. In any case, those companies that use WhatsApp to send massively lose, without a doubt. A limit of 20 contacts was quite good for them, but the fact that this has been reduced to five hurts them a lot when it comes to carrying out their campaigns.
