Pokémon GO Trainer Battles Now Available
It is already a reality. Finally, Pokémon Go players will be able to face each other in battles with other trainers, a feature that we have been waiting for a long time. Initially this possibility has been activated only for those trainers who have levels 40 or higher, but Niantic has reduced this number by a level 10 or more, where we hope it will continue.
To start a trainer battle you just have to scan another player's Battle Code.To do this, go to the "Nearby" menu that you will find in the lower right corner of the screen. A new Battle tab is displayed here which will allow you to view your Battle Code. Basically, it's a QR code of your trainer's avatar. Although in order to have a battle with another trainer you will have to be directly in front of the person you want to fight against, you will be able to fight online against your friends no matter where they are be found. You can even challenge the team leaders. You'll see them above your Battle Code.
Trainer Battles in Pokémon Go are played against two opponents. Each player will have to have a team of three Pokémon. Once the battle starts, you will have to choose your team like in a Raid Battle. If you doubt, don't worry, the game itself will recommend the best Pokémon to fight, although you can change them manually whenever you want.It is also possible to choose one of the Battle Groups that you already have prepared.
When it's time to fight, you'll have to decide the League you want to fight in. Trainer Battles let you choose between three:
- Grand League: Each Pokémon must be 1,500 CP or less
- Ultra League: Each Pokémon must be 2,500 CP or less
- Master League: Here Pokémon have no CP limits
It should be noted that the battles as such are very similar to those already seen in Pokémon Go. When performing a basic attack an energy bar will be charged which will give rise to stronger attacks. Of course, now we can enjoy a new functionality. It is about the possibility of being able to combine a first charge bar with a second with another more powerful attack. Are you ready for the trainer battles?
