Instagram Stories debuts a new countdown feature

A new option is appearing for some selected users on Instagram. To the surveys, GIFs, questions, sliding emoticons and music, another one is now added that seems specially designed for the downright impatient: the countdown. Indeed, it is a new option in the Stories with which we can indicate how much time is left for a specific date, for you or for the whole world. It could be your wedding, a popular race or the highly anticipated night of the Three Wise Men.
Countdown on Instagram Stories
This new option is not yet available to everyone, so if you've gone looking for it quickly and quickly on your own Instagram, you may be disappointed. We have proof that this countdown function has already reached some people and we are going to tell you how to see if you have it too. To do this, of course, we must have the Instagram application installed on our mobile phone and our own account on it. We can go to the Google Play app store and download it, using our Facebook account to create it later.
On the main Instagram screen we can access the Stories in two ways, either by clicking on the camera icon that you have in the upper left part of the screen or by sliding your finger to the right from the main screen.Both options will open the camera integrated into Instagram and we can now make our first story, it can be a video as well as a photograph. For the first option, keep your finger pressed as long as you want the video to last; for the second, take a picture as you would with your phone's camera.
Then swipe up to locate the 'Countdown' option. A sticker will appear in which you will have to put the name of the event and a date. The countdown will be activated automatically and your contacts will also be able to share it with their own followers. What better way to wait for that long-awaited day to arrive than to involve those we love most in the wait?
