This will be the new Instagram letter design
Table of contents:
One of the great changes that the Instagram application underwent throughout its life was the incorporation of Stories, those short videos that had an ephemeral life and that have been a revulsion for the application itself. Thanks to this appropriation (because, let's remember, the ephemeral story mechanic belonged to Snapchat), Instagram regained the throne, especially in terms of adolescent and young users. Now, Instagram is preparing the jump for what will be its other big change, a facelift to the interface that will change the way we see our friends' posts.
Now you will see Instagram posts in a different way
Currently, our Instagram wall consists of seeing the posts of our followers one after the other, as in a 'temporary' line (but it is not temporary, but rather their order follows the different algorithms that the application applies to certain 'important' or 'relevant' photographs) in which the different photographs appear to us as we scroll down the screen. Now, according to the Twitter account WABetaInfo, we will be able to see our friends' posts as cards, as we can see in the following video.
"New Instagram UI to view posts on your feed: presenting Cards, for iOS and Android! In this new UI, the Profile and Direct tabs will be inverted! The new changes will be available in the future. pic.twitter.com/RVDNuuLvTk"

In addition, this significant change will be accompanied by another more subtle but no less important one. At the bottom of the application we have 5 well-differentiated sections. Namely, home icon, where we have our friends' posts, the magnifying glass to search for hashtahgs and interesting posts, the '+' sign to post our photos, the heart for notifications and the last silhouette button where we can see our screen Profile. Well, this last button will move to the upper right part of the screen, exactly where we now have the paper plane button that leads us to the messages section direct. And it will go to where we usually found the profile button. Places will be exchanged, giving priority to direct messages.
There is still no definite date for the release of this new version, so we will have to be attentive to any new developments that arise.
