Google Files Go, a Google application that allows us to manage and save storage on Android devices, is updated. It is now renamed Filies by Google. Files Go is now called Files by Google. With this, the company makes its brand name predominate. In addition, it joins other applications under the name Google, such as Google Pay, Google One or Google Home among others.Although Android is also present in some of the company's apps (Android Auto, for example), the big G wants to unify all of them in its brand, since it gives the user more confidence and they can identify it more easily. Mobile phones and devices manufactured by Mountain View are also called Made by Google devices.
Material Design with new colors and styles
Another change is in aesthetics. It adapts to Material Design with rounder icons, new animations, and a more colorful palette. The app continues with a menu with three options. On the one hand, that of deleting, where we can eliminate junk or duplicate content In addition, it shows us information about its internal storage. The other category called 'Explore' allows us to see all the files and manage them directly from the app.Finally, the 'share' option allows us to send the files to different contacts or platforms.
Files by Google can now be installed with the new design and name. If you already had it installed, you will receive an update from Google Play where all the new features will be applied.
