You will have 10 minutes to delete the messages you send through Facebook Messenger
Do you sometimes regret the messages you send? In WhatsApp you have a remedy, since you have more than an hour to delete any type of inopportune phrase. However, other communication services such as Facebook Messenger do not allow to date to enjoy this possibility. That is, what you put you will not be able to eliminate even if it weighs on you. However, this could change very soon.
In the release notes for version 191.0 of Facebook Messenger for iOS, this functionality would have been revealed as "very soon", which means that once it is released, users will be able to delete their messages in case of repentance.Currently, the version of Messenger available for iOS devices is 189.0 and it does not have the option. We do not know when it would be launched, but what we do know is that if messages are deleted, users will have 10 minutes to delete them. It is not as long as the 68 minutes of WhatsApp, but enough to make them disappear before they are read by our recipients.
Facebook continues working to make Messenger one of the most outstanding communication services of the moment. It recently announced a new facelift with a more functional and minimalist redesign with the aim of making the app less cumbersome, faster and easier. Thus, would have three buttons at the bottom instead of the five we currently have. We would have one for conversations, another for contacts and the new "Explore" function.
We can say that this last option would become a kind of extra drawer where the rest of the icons would be placed to save space and keep everything more organized. In it we could find some icons, such as business and games. There would also be changes regarding the chat window. It will be possible to continue changing the color of the conversation, but everything will be cleaner. Some users have already started to see all of these design improvements, but the changes are being made progressively, so it's normal that you won't be able to see them in your app yet.
