If you're trying to interact with your Instagram contacts, browse photos or upload your own and you can't, don't worry because it's probably not your problem. Even if you are trying to send a private message and see that it is not being sent, the error is in the application itself. According to the Downdetector website, Instagram has been having problems for a few minutes. This is how users are reporting, who focus on 3 problems, mainly: 46% of them cannot access their news feed (that is, the wall of your contacts' photos), 33% cannot connect to the application with their own credentials and the remaining 20% are reporting problems using Instagram from the web browser.
Instagram is down globally
If we stay on the Downdetector website and see the fault map in real time, in our country the autonomous community most affected is Madrid. In the rest of Europe, we see how the main errors of the application are focused on the Netherlands, the Parisian capital, Milan and the most important cities of Great Britain.
The problem, however, is far from being light as there are also numerous users who cannot even upload one of their Stories to the section, nor use chat to communicate with each other. Other social networks such as Twitter have been receiving messages for approximately an hour from users wondering what is happening with Instagram and why it has suddenly stopped working on their phones.
I checked the wifi and the data, I turned off my cell phone and finally I deleted the data of the app and it turns out that @instagram fell. I panicked ??? instagramdown

The problem is not limited to Europe but is falling worldwide. In America they are also experiencing problems with Instagram, as we see in Downdetector's live bug map. The area most affected by these failures in the application is the west coast. During the month of September, the website states that Instagram had at least three failures worth mentioning One occurred on September 7 and the remaining two were days consecutive, September 16 and 17.
