Instagram prepares the option of being able to share publications from others
Table of contents:
The Instagram application is constantly adding new features, mostly for its Stories, one of the most used features. But little by little they are also improving the publication section. One of the most interesting features, and one that the social network does not include by default, is share the posts of other users so that they appear on your profile. It seems that Instagram is already working on a method.
According to The Verge, Instagram is testing this option that would be very similar to what other third-party applications do. A button would be added to each post so that when you press it it will automatically post to your profile. Of course, the image will show the data of the author of the publication and the original content in the other account.
At the moment, Instagram has not confirmed the inclusion of this feature, although they did mention the popularity of this function on occasion. It seems that it is a feature with early development, so it might not even be released eventually. The feature is likely to work similar to shared Stories. In other words, you can only share them on your profile if the person has mentioned you.
There are hundreds of alternatives until we wait for this feature
At the moment there are many, many alternatives to Repost on Instagram that are available on the Play Store or App Store. What these applications do is generate the image to publish it on your Instagram account, on many occasions these have a watermark, although they also mention which user the publication belongs to.
We'll see if Instagram finally decides to add this option that many users have been waiting for. Now we'll have to see if Instagram will limit it to mentioned posts, accounts with a specific number of followers, or verified profiles.
