Google Keep: notes and lists
Table of contents:
One of the Google applications that most often goes unnoticed and that, in my opinion, is one of the most useful and practical, is Google Keep. With the Google notes application, even the most absent-minded person can have, safely, everything important to remember, making notes with text, image, audio and putting reminders on them. An application that, now, changes its name. And only in name, users who are already used to how it works should not fear sudden changes. Everything remains the same as before.
If we go to the Google Play Store application and search for Google Keep we will see how Google has decided to add the 'notes and lists' plugin to the name of the application, that is, Google Keep. Therefore, now, officially, the application is renamed 'Google Keep: notes and lists' The reason for this name change, which to many will seem somewhat absurd and irrelevant, it may have a compelling reason. Could it be that Google distrusted the popularity of Google Keep and has been "forced" to add "notes and lists" so that the user knows, once and for all, what this "enigmatic application with a yellow icon in which a bulb comes out'?
Google Keep is renamed Google Keep: notes and lists
If you are not familiar with this Google Keep: Notes & Lists app, let's try to shed some light below. The application is one of the easiest to use from Google. Just open it and start creating notes. It's as simple as click on the bottom bar, where 'Take a note' appears and start writing. The format of the note is also very simple, in the center you have the body of the note and, at the top, different icons to fix the note with a thumbtack, add a reminder to the note (attentive, clueless users) and a last button to archive the notes so that they do not appear on the main screen, because when doing many they tend to accumulate, leaving our notes panel a mess.
How to create a list in Google Keep: notes and lists
There is also the possibility that you want to create a list and not a note, one of the most used functions in Google Keep: notes and lists. Before starting to write a note, before pressing where you can read 'Take a note', we see a series of icons that can be very useful. The first one is the one we have to press if we want to make a list, for example, of the purchase. We just have to write the items to buy and, automatically, a box will appear to mark them when we leave them in the basket. As for the rest of the icons, we can use them to write notes by hand, create audio notes when we can't write or don't feel like it, or add images to our notes.
If you want to try and download Google Keep, all you have to do is go to its section in the Android Play Store. The application is free, it does not contain any payments inside it and its installation file has a weight of 9.81 MB so you can download it whenever you want, regardless of whether you are connected to WiFi or using your mobile data. An application, as we said, highly recommended for people who tend to forget their commitments, very simple and intuitive.
