How to get Mewtwo in the Pokémon GO ultrabonus event
Table of contents:
All summer long, Pokémon GO Trainers have been busy helping meet the goals of Professor Willow's World Research Challenge. At the end of June and beginning of July, the special event 'Safari Zone' was held in the city of Dortmund; during the month of July the Pokémon GO Fest was held in the US state of Illinois, in the city of Chicago; and in August, they returned to the 'Safari Zone', this time in Yokosuka, a city in Japan. In order to reward all the Trainers who participated in these three events and expand the opportunities to get special Pokémon for everyone, a special ultrabonus event has been created that we will describe below.
This is how you can get Mewtwo in the new ultrabonus event of Pokémon GO
The Pokémon GO ultrabonus event will take place over two main date ranges. Starting September 13, Pokémon Trainers around the world will have the chance to get three Legendary Pokémon that were originally discovered in the Kanto region: Articuno, Zapdos, and Moltres. These Legendary Pokémons will appear in raid battles until September 20. You will also have the opportunity to find their shiny forms. And this is not all, since the Pokémon originally appeared in the Kanto region will appear more frequently throughout the world and in raid battles until the end of the month.
The second part of the Pokémon GO ultrabonus event will take place from September 20. A date to mark on the Pokémon calendar as Mewtwo will appear in battle in raids for the first time in the history of the Niantic game. In the past, Mewtwo has only been available to Trainers invited to EX Raids.
To top it all off, Farfetch'd, Kangaskhan, Mr. Mime, and Tauros will join the Alolan-form Pokémon in the 7 km eggs until the end of September. Take the opportunity to get these creatures, which have not spread much throughout the world and thus be able to complete the Pokédex.
