Specific battery recycling points around you
Once the Eucobat app is installed on your mobile, it's easy to find battery recycling points around you. You can enter your city or zip code, or authorize the app to access your location.
With any of these systems, the map will show in blue the recycling points, around you or in the area you have indicated .
By clicking on one of these points you will find the name of the establishment where it is located and the address. And if you click on that box, the app will allow you to open the navigation mode in Google Maps to take you there.
In total, the app collects more than 340,000 recycling points in Spain, France, Belgium, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Italy and Turkey. In Spain there are around 32,000 identified, corresponding to the Ecopilas foundation.
What options are in the Eucobat app menu
In the upper left corner you will find the button to display the app menu. In addition to the map with the collection points, from the menu you can see information about the local organizations that are in charge of this recycling, access the Eucobat website or consult the list of frequently asked questions about the recycling of batteries.
The app is available in twelve languages and more will be added soon. In addition, in the long term, data from collection points in other countries will also be introduced.
