We know iTunes as Apple's main program to use as a music library. From it, we can edit, transfer, download or delete the music tracks we want from our library on the computer Macs are the default program to manage the music tracks and given its excellent performance and enormous editing capabilities, few end up looking for an alternative to the apple operating system.
In Windows we can download the program and its efficiency is still excellent, very little below what it is in MacOs.iTunes is usually used from either of the two operating systems to transfer music to the iPhone or iPad, which is done even without cables and quickly and easily. But what happens if what we want is to have our music organized in the Apple program but transfer it to an Android device, is it possible? You can, and it's relatively simple.
To begin with, it is important to clarify that it can be done in different ways and that many programs have been created for this purpose, but we will focus on two free modes, one wireless via WiFi and another through the USB cable of our Android phone or tablet.
In wireless mode the easiest way is with AirDroid, a program for Windows and MacOs that allows us to register up to three devices for freeand transfer all kinds of files between them. The way is simple, after downloading the program and registering with an email at no cost - we will not receive anything like that either - we synchronize it with our Android terminal. On the left, in the 'My Devices' category, we choose the name of our device and a kind of conversation box appears on the screen, like Skype or old MSN Messenger, except that here instead of phrases will be the files transferred above and what we want to send drag it at the bottom.
Just by selecting the song or songs from iTunes that we want to put on the Android device and drag them to this box, we will have them in a matter of seconds on our mobileIt will also depend on the number and weight of the tracks and the WiFi connection, it is clear that it will not take the same time to transfer two 6Mb tracks than fifteen 9Mb tracks. The plus of transferring the songs from iTunes is that everything that we have edited in Apple's music management program, we will see it implemented in our player despite being from Android.
As for transferring music via cable, two completely free programs make it much easier for us, one to do it with all Android devices and the other for exclusively Samsung terminals. The first method is through the popular Android File Transfer, which in Spain appears when downloaded as an Android File Transfer Application. Just by connecting our terminal and giving permission for the computer to access, we can transfer the files from iTunes to the folders just by dragging them to them. Its operation could not be more basic.
The alternative for Samsung terminals is with Samsung Smart Switch, which works the same as Android File Transfer When connecting the device and opening the program the folders of our Android smartphone appear and in which we want to put the music from iTunes, it will be enough to select those songs and drag them to said folder. Both methods are also very efficient when transferring to the SD card, something that is not easily done on all Android devices.
As we said at the beginning, there are other programs and methods, but we find these to be the most reliable, they reach all Android devices and the two major computer operating systems and they are completely free, so we cannot order more.
