Fortnite begins sending invitations to users without a Samsung mobile
The arrival of Fortnite on Android mobiles is something highly anticipated for users of the platform. So far, the game was only available for compatible Samsung Galaxy devices. The good news is that as of today has also begun to reach users of other brands' terminals in beta form who signed up on the list Standby. This is revealed by a Fortnite tweet sent a few hours ago.
If you haven't signed up yet, head over to the Epic website to request an invite. Once this is done, you will receive an email with a link to pre-install the game on your mobile. You will then automatically receive the invitation required to play the Fortnite beta on Android. From Epic Games they claim to have tested the game without problems on a large number of devices, not only from Samsung, also on Huawei, Asus, Google, LG, ZTE, Xiaomi, Nokia, OnePlus or Razer mobiles . For now it is only impossible for Sony, Lenovo (Moto) and HTC mobiles to run Fortnite. Specifically the following models:
- HTC 10, U Ultra, U11 / U11+, U12+
- Lenovo/Moto: Moto Z / Z Droid, Moto Z2 Force
- Sony: Xperia: XZ/ XZs, XZ1, XZ2
The developer has commented that it is trying to provide a solution, so that users who have these devices can at some point play Fortnite without problems. However, you must bear in mind that for the game to run successfully on your phone from some of the supported manufacturers, it must meet a series of minimum power level requirements.Have Android 5.0 or higher, have 3 GB of RAM, as well as Adreno 530, Mali-G71 MP20 or Mali-G72 MP12 graphics. Do not forget in addition to having free 1.9 GB of space.
We tested Fortnite for Android on the Samsung Galaxy Note 9. After playing for a while we saw that the general operation and the experience with the servers was quite positive. Only once did it cause problems getting back to the main lobby, which forced us to have to restart the game to get it working properly againIf you try Fortnite on any of the compatible devices, we encourage you to share your experience with the game with us.
