Do you use Instagram? It's been a while since the most popular social network for photography launched polls in Stories. A new sticker where you can ask questions with the possibility of choosing two answers. Instagram polls are very popular, and it seems that the service has also wanted to bring them to direct messages. In this way, you can send a survey to a single person through a private message, without making it public. You do not know how? We show you step by step below.
First of all, check that you have the latest version of Instagram You can watch it from the app Store if you have an iPhone or iPad, or from Google Play if you have an Android device. If you don't get the update, don't worry. It may take a while to arrive, or perhaps the app has already been updated automatically. You can follow the steps to check it.
Customize the question and answer
Once updated, enter the Instagram app and go to direct messages. You can do it by sliding your finger to the left or by clicking on the airplane icon in the upper area. Now, find a contact and click on the camera icon. It will open the camera interface to take the photo or video. You can use the front or rear camera and the different options, such as text, boomerang etc. When you have your photo or video, swipe up and open the sticker panel Look for the survey sticker.
Now you can customize your question and answers, just like you do in Instagram Stories. Once it is ready, click on the send option in the lower area. The contact will be able to view the poll and vote. Of course, the sender will be able to see that you have voted in the conversation. A notification will also appear. Also, you can only vote once, even if Instagram allows you to view the photo or video twice.
