YouTube prepares new gestures to move quickly between videos
Google wants to make it a little easier for Android users when using YouTube, its streaming video platform. The company will allow users of the system to go to the next YouTube video just by sliding their finger from right to left. A quick and subtle move to make the experience with the service more comfortable. At the moment, this function has reached a few users in test mode, although it could end rolling out to everyone shortly.
Until now, it is possible to advance through the suggested YouTube videos by clicking on the advance button. Although it is true that this gesture is appropriate, it may not be as intuitive as we would like. As can be seen in a broadcast video, from now on we could scroll the videos simply by sliding our finger on the phone's panel, something much faster and comfortable within the YouTube app.
As we say, this new function is only available for a few users, since the company is testing it. If you want to check if you are among these lucky few, just download the latest version of YouTube for Android, enter the application and see if you can pass the videos sliding your finger across them from right to left, or vice versa, from anywhere on the screen.
Another thing you can check is if you already have available the dark mode that came to Android a few days ago.As we explained to you, this mode is very useful to save battery or if you want to give the interface a different look. To enjoy it, the first thing you have to do is All you have to do is go to APK Mirror and download the latest APK from Google. Once you have activated the installation permissions of external applications in the system settings, install and open it as if it were a normal app. Once inside the main interface of the application, click on the icon of your channel, located on the right in the top bar, and go to the Settings section. Then click on Settings. You will see that a series of options are displayed, among which is the dark theme. Activate it so that the interface automatically changes to black.
