WhatsApp continues to add news in its latest betas. Just a few days ago we learned that the most popular messaging app would add a fake link detector as a way to avoid worrisome hoaxes. As well as a forwarded message notification Now, improvements are coming to app notifications. In beta 2.18.214 a new feature is added to improve the experience of many users.
Until now, if we received a WhatsApp notification we could reply directly from the notification. With the latest beta another button is added, the one to mark that message as read That's right, a way for the sender to know that you have received and read your message. The blue tick will automatically appear in the conversation, without having to enter the app. Therefore, we will have two options, reply to the message or mark as read. To this we add the possible intelligent responses that could reach the application through the Google keyboard, a company that is developing this feature on Android devices. Gmail already includes it and it works perfectly.
You have the feature but it doesn't work?
We should note that this feature appears in WhatsApp beta 2.18.214, but it is not working. Even if you have the beta and see the option, will not mark as read, as it is a feature that is in development. Even so, WhatsApp could activate it at any time. We remind you that there are different options to participate in the WhatsApp beta program. You can sign up directly from Google Play. Just go into the app and click on the box that says “Join the beta program”. You can also do it by downloading the app apk from APK mirror. You will automatically enter the beta program and every time there is a new version it will ask you to update the application. You can always unsubscribe from the program through Google Play or by uninstalling the app downloaded from the web.
