For example, if we focus with Lens on a popular building, it tells us what it is about, its height and information that it has found in the different portals. Just a few weeks ago, Google Lens reached all devices through its own application and was included in the Google Assistant on some selected mobiles. Now, go directly to the Google camera app.
The Google Camera comes by default on the Google Pixel and Pixel XL, Pixel 2 and 2 XL, and the Google Nexus. Devices that have this camera are getting Google Lens as a new shooting mode. It's among the various options, such as portrait mode or augmented reality stickers. This way, you won't need to leave the app to scan an object, building, or anything else with Lens. Google Lens doesn't just scan objects to tell us where we can buy them, or buildings to show us their height. It has a smarter side. For example, if we scan a business card, it will detect the email and immediately open Gmail. It can even tell us what type of plant or flower it is.
Google Lens in all camera apps?

The inclusion of Google Lens in the Google camera gives us clues that other devices could soon include it. For the moment, the firms dare with their own alternatives. In Huawei devices we can scan objects thanks to Amazon Assistant. Samsung, for example, uses Bixby for object scanning, translation, and information. We'll see if Google Lens is finally integrated into other manufacturers' camera apps.
