The favorite application of all those who are dedicated to music composition, GarageBand, just received a new update. An enhancement that contains a large number of new loops, sounds and additional instruments. Also, as part of this new version improvement, the so-called Lessons for Artists, which previously had a price of 5 euros each, will now be completely free for users. In addition, they will be included as an integral part of the Basic Lessons of the application.
New Loops, Sounds and Instruments
The new update to GarageBand 10.3 includes two new drummers who play genres as diverse as jazz and American roots music, blues and the most primitive folk. In addition, more than 1,000 new electronic loops or loops that include advanced music genres such as Future Bass or Chill Rap. Additionally, we will find 400 sound effects of animals, machinery and voices. And as if this were not enough, in the update we are also going to get three new instruments, corresponding to the Chinese and Japanese tradition: they are the Guzheng, Koto and Taiko drums. The sounds of these three instruments already existed in the application since 2016 as loops and last year they became part of its sound library.
As we indicated at the beginning, we are going to save a lot of money with the GarageBand update, since the Lessons for Artists that previously cost 5 dollars are now going to be completely free. In 2009, Apple created these lessons so that users of the application could learn popular songs to be played on the piano and guitar, lessons that are also taught by the artists themselves. Themes were included, for example, by Death Cub For Cutie, Sara Maclachlan, Sting, John Legend, Rush or Fall Out Boy. Now, these Lessons become part of the basic lessons of the application and, therefore, they will be free. These lessons were only available in 20 countries and thanks to the update, now these countries are increased to more than 150
