Google Play is updated to the new Material Design design
Table of contents:
Google Play Store, the official store for Android devices continues to receive very interesting news. We recently learned that the store would start notifying us about events in our installed games. As well as the notice that there is an application similar to the one we want to install. What we have not seen news is a design change. At least, until now. Google Play begins to implement the new Material Design in some of its sections. AND
We have already seen it on the applications page, just before installing. The interface change can be seen in practically the entire page. The upper area is changed to white color, with larger elements. Until now we saw the green color in the upper zone Also, in the previous design we didn't see Google Play, but rather the name of the app. The image and title of the app have not changed. Yes, the install button, which is now larger and occupies practically the entire page. The game category and popularity are also added in the upper area, just below the title. In this way, the score, the number of downloads and the recommended age of the game are left. Finally, we must highlight that the description is shown after the images of the app.
New design that will reach all users
The new Material Design has not been implemented on other pages in the Google Play Store. But most likely we will see it little by little in other elements. It seems that Google has selected different users for its new design and it will reach all users in the next few days or weeks. Also, design aspects could change slightly. At the moment, we have not noticed any problems. We will be attentive to future changes. Google is gradually adding Material Design 2 to all apps, until the official launch of Android P.
