Pokémon Quest
Two years after Niantic launched a game that would revolutionize society and that would open a debate that, to this day, still remains, another company, GAME FREAK, launches its particular vision of the world of Pokémon with a new game titled Pokémon Quest. An announcement that took place during the '2018 Pokémon Video Game Press Conference' held in Japan. The Pokémon Company stated that this new installment, Pokémon Quest, would be available for Nintendo Switch starting on May 30, Wednesday. For mobile phones, both Android and iOS systems, it will arrive during the month of June.

The first thing that stands out about the announcement of the new game Pokémon Quest is its visual appearance. This was indicated by the company itself in a later tweet. The Pokémon will not have that curvilinear appearance that they usually have, but rather, Minecraft-like grids.'

The game will be free although it will contain payments inside that will help the user to overcome levels and obtain reinforcements. These payments will be classified into nine aid packages which are as follows.
- Expedition Pack ($4.99)
- Great Expedition Pack ($9.99)
- Ultra Expedition Pack ($17.99)
- Broadburst Stone ($2.99)
- Scattershot Stone ($2.99)
- Sharing Stone ($2.99)
- Stay Strong Stone ($2.99)
- Wait Less Stone ($2.99)
- Whack-Whack Stone ($2.99)
The prices of the packages are in dollars, and it is not yet known if the conversion will be made to our currency or, simply, it will cost the same figure that we can see at the top. Will the user be willing to pay figures of up to 18 dollars for a mobile game? In 'Pokémon Quest' the player will train his Pokémon and make them face others with simple touches on the screen. The game takes place within the island of Tumblecube. On this island live the Pokéxel, which are the 'cubiform' cousins of the Pokémon that we all know.
Pokémon Quest is a game that, according to the developers themselves, is indicated for the whole family to play since its controls will be very simple and understandable mechanics for everyone. If you own Nintendo Switch, from today you can find out and play with Pokémon Quest. Mobile users won't have to wait much longer.
