Everything new that arrives in WhatsApp groups
Group Description
It can be strange that one is in so many WhatsApp groups to not know, exactly, the purpose of it. But, just in case, WhatsApp wants to make it easier to be able to post a description to the group, whether you are a participant or an administrator. As soon as a new member joins the group, the information or whatever the administrator wants to place as a description of the group (it can be a new event, the rules of participation, etc.) will appear at the top of the chat screen.
Administrator Controls
If you are an administrator of a group, now you can also decide who can change the photo, description and subject of a group, if only administrators or any member of the group itself. To do this, we will only have to click on the group header and search for 'Group configuration'. Next, click on 'Edit info. group’ and choose the desired option.
Up date
If there are too many participants in your group, it's normal for mentions to escape you. From now on, you can have grouped all the mentions that are made to you, directly, in the group, in the new button '@' that will appear, in this case , at the bottom right of the chat screen.
Participant Search
On the group settings screen you can search for any participant just by clicking on the magnifying glass. A section that will be quite adequate if the group has gotten a bit out of hand and we have accumulated too many participants.
New administrator privileges
If you are a group administrator, with the new version we can remove permissions from other participants. On the other hand, the original creators of a group cannot be removed under any circumstances.
And one more novelty is missing. If you have left a group several times, WhatsApp will prevent its participants from including you again. This is undoubtedly a step forward in the fight against cyberbullying in networks and messaging services.
